Nesafer (NESAFER.com) is a travel agency based in Egypt. Our website offers an AI trip planner that drafts trip ideas, and a Nesafer expert then prepares and confirms the actual price. In this policy, "Nesafer", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Nesafer, and "you" refers to anyone who uses our website or services.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:
- Contact details: your name, phone number and email address.
- Trip details: destinations, dates, number of travellers, preferences, budget, notes and anything you type or say to the AI trip planner.
- Travel documents: where needed to make a booking, passport details (such as name as shown on passport, passport number, nationality and expiry date) and visa information.
- Files you upload, such as payment receipts or documents you attach to a trip request.
- Account details if you sign in, such as your email address and saved traveller profile.
- Technical data: basic device, browser and usage information needed to run and secure the website.
3. How we use your information
- To draft trip plans with our AI planner and to let a Nesafer expert prepare a price quote for you.
- To contact you about your request by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- To make bookings with airlines, hotels and other suppliers after you approve a quote.
- To send you payment links and to confirm payments.
- To provide customer support and handle changes, cancellations or complaints.
- To keep our website secure, prevent fraud and improve our services.
- To meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
4. The AI trip planner
Messages you send to the AI trip planner (by text or voice) are processed by third-party AI service providers so that the planner can respond. Please do not share passport numbers, payment card details or other sensitive information in the chat. AI suggestions are drafts only and are reviewed by a Nesafer expert before any price is given.
5. Who we share information with
We only share personal data where it is needed to provide our services or where the law requires it, for example with:
- Travel suppliers such as airlines, hotels, transfer companies and tour operators, so they can deliver the services you booked.
- Third-party payment providers that process payments through the payment links we send you. We do not store your full card details.
- Technology providers that host our website, store data, send emails or provide AI features on our behalf.
- Embassies, consulates or visa service providers, if you ask us to help with a visa application.
- Government or public authorities, where we are required to do so by law.
6. International transfers
Because travel is international, some of your data may be sent to suppliers and service providers outside Egypt (for example, a hotel in the country you are visiting, or a cloud provider). Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your data is handled securely and only for the purposes described in this policy.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements and to handle any disputes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
8. How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls so that sensitive details such as passport information are visible only to you and authorised Nesafer staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our safeguards regularly.
9. Your rights
We aim to handle personal data in line with applicable Egyptian law, including the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020. Subject to that law, you may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy.
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your data, where we are not required to keep it.
- Stop or limit certain uses of your data, or withdraw consent you have given.
10. Children
Our services are intended for adults. If you book travel for a child, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian or are authorised to provide their details.
